Happy Father’s Day! I hope you all were able to spend some quality time with your families and loved ones today!
This was my weekend to work, but I am thankful that my weekends are a good opportunity to catch up on anything left behind from the workweek as well as shorter hours (just 9 hours versus 13 hours!).
So today I was able to see the sun when I got out of work, and I was VERY thankful for it! I tried a new build-your-own-salad place, and I figured it was a good opportunity to share this COMFY, AFFORDABLE work outfit.
BACKGROUND
I work as a retail pharmacist, so I am ALWAYS on my feet. I work 13 hour days, and those days usually turn into 15 or 16 hours on my feet in order to get a head start or catch up after the pharmacy closes.
This means my main priority for workwear is COMFORT while also keeping it professional. I am so excited to share with you this outfit!!
OUTFIT DETAILS
Shirt
- Slim-Fit Bell-Sleeve Top in the color cream from Old Navy.
- Retails for $22.99 but currently on SALE for $14.97.
- You can also get an extra 40% off this sale price with the code STYLE as of today 6/16/19. That brings the price down to around $9!!
- Click HERE for the link.
- Sizing & Fit: This fits true to size. I normally wear a size Small in most shirts, and I wear a size Small in this shirt.
Skirt
- High-Rise Paperbag Mini Skirt in color olive from Target.
- Retails for $22.98 but currently on sale for $21.83.
- Not a huge discount but hey a dollar saved is a dollar earned!
- Click HERE for the link.
- Sizing & Fit: This fits pretty true to size but a little on the tighter side. I normally wear a size 4 in bottoms, and I have a size 4 here but it is a little on the tighter side. I usually like to wear things a little looser, but this doesn’t allow for too much wiggle room in the waist.
Shoes
- Crochet Slip-On Flats in color natural from Walmart.
- Click HERE for the link.
- Retails for $9.87 but currently on SALE for $7.00.
- The BEST part of these shoes is the memory foam cushioning! They are so comfortable and I have NO COMPLAINTS after 10 hours on my feet in these. When I start crossing the 13 hours mark though these just simply don’t have enough support though- so heed my warning!
- Sizing & Fit: I normally wear between a 7 – 8 in flats, and in this I wear a 7. So it fits pretty true to size, and you don’t have to size up for extra room once your feet swell from standing on them all day! The crochet is awesome and flexible so there is no pain and extra room if you need it!
Seriously I recommend each one of these pieces, and they are SO AFFORDABLE. Comfy & affordable. Can’t get any better than that! Plus the bell sleeves are just so fun.
Let me know your thoughts or if you give any of these items a try!
