Vegan-ized my french toast sticks recipe! (And added cinnamon because I forgot that in the other recipe)
- 2 slices whole wheat bread (cut into sticks!)
- 1 chia egg (1 tbsp chia seed + 2-3 tbsp warm water)
- 1/8 cup almond milk
- 1 mashed banana
- 1 tbsp all natural peanut butter to top it off!
And I made this in the microwave as well- just trying to make it all dorm-friendly for when I head back to college!! Put it in for 2-3 minutes (time may vary depending on your microwave so cut part of it to see if it’s done!)!!
PS Maybe it’s the cinnamon, but I like this version better than the non-vegan one! Gonna be making this one all the time now! BREAKFAST >>>>>>>>>>>>
